Details
  • Minimum opening balance is 9,000 baht, maximum 1 million baht / person
Qualifications
  • Only individuals between 15 and 70 years old are eligible. The deposit account must be opened in the name of one person only
  • The depositor must have a Kasikorn Bank savings deposit account or current deposit account to receive the interest transferred at the end of the deposit terms
  • Kasikorn Bank reserves the right not to pay interest on the balance in excess of 1 million baht / person, or transfer the deposit amount in excess of 1 million baht from the old account to the connected savings deposit account or current deposit account

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I withdraw money before the end of the deposit term? How will I receive the interest?

The principle amount can be partially withdrawn before the deposit due term, whereby:

  • If deposits have been made for less than 3 months, the bank will pay the fixed savings interest rate for 3 months at the lowest amount for private individuals
  • If deposits are made for 3 months or longer but do not complete the due term, the bank will pay the fixed savings rate for 6 months at the lowest amount for private individuals

The remaining funds in the Flexible Fixed Deposit Plus Family Protection account continue to accrue interest at the specified ​rate on the deposit dates as usual.

If the deposit amount exceeds 1 million baht, how will the bank take action?

The bank reserves the right not to pay interest on the balance in excess of 1 million baht and/or reserves the right to transfer the deposit balance in excess of 1 million baht from the Flexible Fixed Deposit Plus Family Protection account recently deposited, into the savings deposit account or current deposit account bound to the Flexible Fixed Deposit Plus Family Protection account without prior notice to the customer.

How do I know if I am protected against accident?

The bank will protect against accident according to the conditions specified for customers from 16 years up to 70 years of age, having a balance in a Flexible Fixed Deposit Plus Family Protection account of more than 9,000 baht, whereby the protection is 2 times the remaining balance of the Flexible Fixed Deposit Plus Family Protection account as of 1 day before the customer dies, up to 1 million baht per person.
